Day by Day Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Your adventure begins upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. After settling in, you will have a briefing with your safari guide, who will provide an overview of the upcoming days and check your gear. Take this opportunity to relax and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.
Day 2: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, you will depart for the Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous wildlife reserves in the world. The drive will take you through the stunning landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you may spot wildlife along the way. Upon arrival in the Serengeti, you’ll embark on your first game drive, where you’ll have the chance to witness the incredible wildebeest migration. Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Today is dedicated to exploring the wonders of the Serengeti. After breakfast, you’ll head out for a full day of game viewing. Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you’ll pack up camp and go for the game drive till noon the have bush lunch or picnic lunch and head towards the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This unique ecosystem is home to a rich variety of wildlife (Thomson gazelle, impalas, grant gazelle, lions, giraffes), including a different view of wildlife and landscape in the Ngorongoro plains than you get to see the local people, the Maasai and overnight at the top of the rim at lodge / camp.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha and Departure
Early in the morning, go for breakfast, after that pack your bags, jump on board, get ready for an hour drive for and descend down to the guided tour, where you can witness the incredible biodiversity that thrives in this natural amphitheater. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning scenery before soaking in the last moments of your adventure, upon arrival in Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time to explore the local markets or visit a cultural center to learn more about the Maasai people.
